Burnside Squash Club hosted the fourth Junior 2100 and below tournament on the 29th of July 2018. This was a great tournament as we had 37 entries in total. The tournament had 5 divisions in total with three of them being played in the morning and two of them in the afternoon. It was fantastic to see Juniors coming from all over Canterbury to participate in this tournament. It allowed for some very hard fought, social matches across all divisions which were played in a positive spirit.
A massive thank you to all the parents who bought the participants along to Burnside Squash Club, tournaments like this couldn’t happen without you getting the children to the clubs. Also, a massive thank you to those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help this tournament go ahead and run smoothly on the day. Nick McGillivray – Junior Convenor Burnside Squash Club.
