2018 Canterbury Secondary Schools Individual Championships Results

36 Secondary School Students from 17 local Schools battled it out on the courts in the Canterbury Secondary Schools Individual Championships Tournament on Sunday 27^th of May. 

A very high level of squash was on display with games running behind schedule in the early afternoon due to some very close games, with 12 matches going to the full 5 sets.

Top seed in the Boys A Grade Caelum Betteridge from Lincoln High was the boy’s winner, with the runner up being Scott Butterick from St Thomas’s putting in a good effort in the final.

Grace Allen from Marian College who was seeded at number 3 was the winner of the Girls A grade, the runner up from Burnside High School Michelle Tapp.  A very high standard of squash on display from all the girls in the Girls A draw, well done.
