KidsFest is an awesome programme of activities to entertain your kids during the winter holidays and it’s great to see so many ‘Give Squash a go’ sessions included this year.
The aim of Junior Autumn interclub is to provide a framework for players of all abilities and ages to play graded competitive squash within greater Christchurch. We run four competitions a year. The competitions are in-line with school terms dates. There is the opportunity for the more experienced juniors to play competitive games for their club against other clubs in the district and a format aimed a juniors new to squash, who can join the competition at any stage.
The Junior 2100 tournament series is a fantastic starting point for a budding squash player to begin their competition squash in a fun supportive environment, with plenty of helpers to guide through the technicalities of scoring and marking. For the more experienced players a strong level of competition is on offer, all juniors are kept busy with 3 tournament games played to 11 points. The games are played in a 4-5 hour period either in the morning or in the afternoon depending on the players ability.
