The 2018 Canterbury Sports Awards took place on Friday 9th March at the Wigram Air Force Museum.
The Awards are the region's iconic celebration of sporting achievement, recognising coaches, officials, athletes and administrators. Squash had a great representation with five nominees.
Paul Coll was shortlisted as a finalist for the Outstanding Sportsman Sports Man of the Year and lost out to Tom Walsh.
Wayne Seebeck received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to Squash.
It was a family affair with Janet Udy being nominated for The Official of the Year and Quinn Udy nominated for the Young Sportsman Award
