Again, this Award had a very convincing winner - Jason Oxenham, Mt Pleasant Squash Club
Jason was away overseas for most of the season (Thanks for the FB photos making us all jealous Ox) and only had 6 weeks training to win the National Men’s Title for 45+.
Jason trains extremely hard and plays even harder – he is of course as strong as an Ox!
His title came at a cost, as he put all he had in the tank and suffered an injury during the final and wasn’t able to compete in the team’s event.
Despite his injury where he was barely able to walk, he was great supporter of the Canty Master’s team and helped coach and support the other players
A great example to other players and a well-deserved winner of this Award. .
