Canterbury Junior Under 11,13,15,17 Team Selection Policy

South Island Age Groups – Team Event 2018

If you wish to be considered to represent Canterbury at the South Island Under 11,13,15,17 Teams Event in August, it is highly recommended that you play in the Canterbury Junior Age Group Champs, 18-20 May, Hoon Hay Squash Club. Entries close Friday 11^th May.

Teams will not necessary be picked on grading points, as past match results may be taken into consideration.

Depending on availability of players, the selectors may select two teams in an age group.

Players MUST return the below availability form before 11^th June if they wish to be considered for selection.

Format:                      U11, U13, 15 & U17 Boy's and Girl's, 1 Manager

Selection Date:           23rd July 2018

Age:                           as at 27th August 2018

Selected players are required to:

• Foster team spirit
• Wear uniform as supplied
• Stay in accommodation as supplied (no partners)
• Pay for own food for the weekend
• Contribute $100 towards costs

 Squash Canterbury will provide:

• Clothing in the form of uniform jacket (to be returned after the event) and playing shirt
• All entry fees
• Accommodation
